Mason Read,

My name is Mason Read and I am 19 years old. I was a student studying a games development course at Seevic College. I am very much interested in 3D art as well as watching movies, admiring the special effects and processes that are used to make certain scenes possible. I enjoy working on independent projects that involve the use of high end programs such as After Effects and Photoshop for post production on short films and developing different techniques for photo editing. I decided to enrol in a games development course so that I could benefit from getting more experience with 3D programs such as 3ds Max, and get an idea of what it is like to animate. This is because 3D programs and animation are a big part of post production in movies when creating things like CGI. So far in the course I have 3D modelled a designated room from within the college grounds including the objects that are inside of it, along with UV mapping and texturing. Using this environment I then went on to create a 30 second animation and a first person shooter game using Unity and 3ds Max.
